The Distillery – The Fort
We almost cancelled drinks because it was raining too hard, but when it finally died down a bit, we decided to hit The Distillery. Precisely because of the rain, we were lucky enough to have tables in the small bar (only 1 long table with bar stools on the 1st floor & about 3 small tables and 2 bigger tables on the 2nd floor). In the past we usually get tables by arriving at 4:30pm before the Fort crowd manages to get out of work!

Last Monday, Greenbelt held an event together with the following brands: Boss Black, Bottega Veneta, Burberry Bvlgari, Charriol, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo and Tod’s. The fashion show was at 6pm at the Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk, with cocktails and a sale exclusive to event guests at 7pm in Greenbelt 4 (up to 40% off).

I had lunch at the new Eastwood Mall today. I went to the ladies room and after washing my hands decided to retouch my make-up and tidy up my unruly hair. While I was doing so, I had to stand between the two sinks (mirrors were only directly on top of it) and use my own compact because if I stood in front of the mirror, the faucet would keep on running.

I wanted to see the monkey forest of Uluwatu Temple because of a beautiful shot of a monkey perched on top of a post, with the cliff and beautiful blue sea as its backdrop. So it was part of our itinerary on our second trip to Bali.

Apartment 1B & Chili’s BOTTOMLESS Margaritas
Last Thursday I met up with my close friends, Mr. & Mrs. K. I was dead tired and I asked them if they would like to eat at nearby Apartment 1B (Great White Toblerone Cheesecake!). I was too tired to drive and I intended to walk to the resto instead (wishful thinking). When we got to Apartment 1B, they mentioned that it was Margarita Madness month at Chili’s! They just didn’t say anything because they thought I would be too tired to drink. Hello?!?! Too tired to walk, yes. Too tired to drink? Never!

I love the buildings, the trees and the slight breeze… Walking to lunch with my best friend, I am also reminded me of the days we used to walk our dog to the park and all the cute pooches coming out to play at 5pm just as the sun is setting and the day is getting cooler.
