Hilarious! Capdevila denies beauty queen an “Iker-Sara kiss”

Wow you gotta admire Joan Capdevila of La Furia Roja (2010 FIFA World Cup champions), for his lightning quick ability to avoid a kiss with a beauty queen! This is an example for all married men! Now I wonder if it would’ve gone differently if the offer was off-camera? Funny nonetheless!

Since the hubby is not here to help me translate, below is the gist of the conversation. I only took up Spanish 1 so I would love it if anyone can suggest a better translation!

The reporter, Miss Argentina 1999 Romina Belluscio, basically asked him if he wanted to reproduce the TV kiss of Iker Casillas & Sara Carbonero. He asks “With who?” and she said “With me!” And much to her embarrassment Capdevila says “No, no, no,no!” Poor woman – did you see that face?!?! =P And she gives a weak comeback and Capdevila says “You’re not my type!” and gives a big goofy laugh at the camera and hurries away!

I’ve never seen a man reject a beauty queen! LOL. Capdevila is said to be married to Maria, his “lifelong girlfriend.” Were They married on June 2007.
