When I found out about the cutest camera strap giveaway on Miaymarch’s blog, A Matter of Taste, I hurriedly hopped over and joined the contest. After which I made sure to visit her blog daily to add more entries to the contest so I could win the GOLD !MO camera that I lusted after. And all my hard work paid off, coz I won!!! Yipee! I’ve had my Dyson DC 24 vacuum cleaner for a few months now, but I wanted to write about it after using it for a couple of months to be familiar with how it works and how effective it is. I researched for a long time, saved for an even longer time, kept checking out the different models in the store for months… and it took me even longer to convince TD that we should part with the hard-earned money I saved. All in all the entire process took me 2 years before I finally took the leap and purchased my first Dyson Vacuum Cleaner – the DC 24 – and boy am I glad I did it! I’m so happy that there is finally a place in Jakarta where I can get tacos that’s delicious, not that expensive, serves alcholic beverages, and is not that traffic to go to. In a city wherein the two major things to do is shopping and dining, there are so many restaurants, that if it is your inclination, you never have to eat in the same place more than once. As a rule, we only return to a place that we really like. We went to Taco Local twice in two weeks and we are planning (and excited) to return very soon. See why after the jump!

I’ve been crazy busy recently, with my DiploShop now shipping locally and internationally I’ve considerably added more things to do! Mind you it’s still all little old me – sourcing, designing, hand-crafting, photography, model to fulfilling the orders! Yep no help whatsoever! Which is no wonder the blog hasn’t been getting much attention. I’ve resolved though to go back to posting! It may not be as detailed as before, but I’d still like to share my discoveries with you via pictures. One of my favorite Indonesian finds is their amazing beauty secret… LULUR body scrub! It’s basically their local body scrub. I don’t recommend just any Lulur, since there are so many available in the supermarkets, drugstores, etc. When using the right brands, I can say that it’s the best body scrub I’ve ever had, even when compared to professional treatment, which usually irritate the heck out of my sensitive skin.
