PARTY ON ❊ B-b-b-bachelorette at Tian Di Spa
I attended the most unusual bridal shower/bachelorette when I was home in Manila for a wedding last November. Usually I know of the prim and proper spa bridal shower or the hen night painting the town red. But I’ve never been to one that combined both in a single place! I was totally ready for an intimate spa bridal shower… little did I know you can have both ends of the spectrum in Tian Di Spa which apparently also has an underground club!

Despite living in Jakarta, one of the top searches in my blog is for a resto-bar in Manila called Robot. Since there is so much interest in Manila, I would love to write more about it. I will try digging up pictures and write more about my experiences in the Philippines as well (Boracay!). The Distillery – The Fort
We almost cancelled drinks because it was raining too hard, but when it finally died down a bit, we decided to hit The Distillery. Precisely because of the rain, we were lucky enough to have tables in the small bar (only 1 long table with bar stools on the 1st floor & about 3 small tables and 2 bigger tables on the 2nd floor). In the past we usually get tables by arriving at 4:30pm before the Fort crowd manages to get out of work!

Last Thursday I met up with my close friends, Mr. & Mrs. K. I was dead tired and I asked them if they would like to eat at nearby Apartment 1B (Great White Toblerone Cheesecake!). I was too tired to drive and I intended to walk to the resto instead (wishful thinking). When we got to Apartment 1B, they mentioned that it was Margarita Madness month at Chili’s! They just didn’t say anything because they thought I would be too tired to drink. Hello?!?! Too tired to walk, yes. Too tired to drink? Never!
