WHY ALWAYS ME? Mario Balotelli vs Inanimate Objects
If you were like me last night, rooting for Germany in the Euro 2012 Semifinals against Italy, then Mario Balotelli must be in your s#$% list. However we have to give honor where it is due. The guys scored two goals in 16 minutes. WOW. The funny thing with Mario Balotelli is that as coordinated as he is with a football, he seems to have an ongoing battle against all other inanimate objects. Some videos of him battling with a BIB, struggling with a Christmas Cake and other pictures of his antics. This is my interpretation of his “WHY ALWAYS ME?” T-shirt – LOL!

This photo is just so touching that I had to repost it. It’s Sergio Ramos comforting Christiano Ronaldo after Portugal lost to Spain in yesterdays Euro 2012 Semifinal game on penalties. Poor Ronaldo didn’t even get to take the fifth penalty. Picture after the jump!

I’ve always wanted to write about the Kings of Bromance, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Lukas Podolski. Otherwise known as SCHWEINSKI (that’s their TomKat/Brangelina name hehe). With tonights ITALY vs GERMANY game, it is the perfect opportunity to write about my favorite German football players (or couple?) These two are the absolute cutest! So many pictures of them celebrating bromance… throughout their many years. Even when they play against each other, after the game they will be hugging. This is a collection of my favorite photos of Schweinski…
*WARNING: Photo/Schweinski overload after the jump!*

UPDATE on football ‘friendly’ that became a brawl with gunfire
Remember the video I posted yesterday of the football friendly between Kuwait & Lebanon that resulted to violence and dozens of machine gun warning shots fired into the air? Posting some updates & FIFA’s reaction after the jump!

OMG. I just had to repost this Dirty Tackle of the Day ! Here I was thinking that football games in Indonesia can become quite violent with the crowd (they had tanks and policemen in full battle gear during the Suzuki Cup game versus Malaysia), but never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine army having to fire their machine guns in the air just to stop football players from kicking each others butts! And even more unbelievable was that the violence continued even after the first set of warning shots fired. Video and story after the jump!

It’s been a while since I did a post on the Azkals and I saw these really fun pics of the Azkals during their team building in Cebu. I thought today would be a great day to post them, because even if I didn’t make it to Sri Lanka to watch their game last week (I was supposed to time my visit with my best friend there) nor can I watch tomorrow’s home game live, TD and I are totally thinking of them and hoping they win and move on to the next round! So here are some of the pics in no particular order, with permission from Ace Bright, for your enjoyment. =)

Philippine Footy/Azkals ✪ A once in a lifetime experience – Part II
Continued from yesterdays post on Watching the Suzuki Cup Philippines vs. Indonesia Semi-finals 2nd leg live. I want to add words to recount this crazy experience of taking pictures behind the pitch and waiting for the player to exit so we can convoy out with them, girls in cars beside the bus trying to get the players attention while smoking (Hmmmm… I wonder if that ever works with athletes? =P), and so much more!
