Another thing we decided to buy from KOI after 3 years of going back and forth and drooling over it is the Kasting Trolley Table. Basically it’s a kitchen trolley that is so versatile in its use. You can use it in the kitchen (but why hide such a beauty?), in the dining area (like we did) or in your office. The brilliant thing about this trolley is that the 3 surfaces can be removed just by lifting it. Seriously it’s that easy. So if you don’t want the middle rack, coz you want to put something tall, then you can remove it. You can then use it as a tray or some sort. Or you can rearrange the different rows. DIPLO HOME ♖ KOI extendable TV table
So this is the TV table that we ended up getting for our master’s bedroom. I got it from KOI. To be honest I’ve eyed it for about 3 years already. And I was seriously contemplating having Danni make it for me, however since the price came out around the same, I decided to buy it from KOI because it would be the first time Danni would make it while KOI has been making this design for years. Can you believe that this is what I asked for my birthday last year? You know you’re getting old when you are asking for furniture! LOL!

So when there were terribly hot days in Jakarta and we would turn on the air conditioner in the living room at night, some hairline cracks appeared on our beloved Teak Nesting tables. (Remember them? We have a very small guest room/study/war-room (coz that’s where we hide the mess!) that had a futon and ONE desk, which hosted the iMac + our massive All-in-one printer (fax/scanner/copier/printer/photoprinter). I would use it by day and get kicked out when TD came home at night and had to work on a table. Sometimes he would work in the dining room, but it really was a waste of energy because the ACs and lights of both rooms would be used. Also since the desk was home to a desktop and a printer it was so crowded there was barely any table surface. To solve it I decided to come up with a printer table/filing cabinet for all our documents and a folding wall-mounted desk for TD which would take up less physical and visual space in the super tiny study. It’s my favorite place to search for clocks (their clocks are cheaper than ACE hardware clocks AND more stylish!) and other statement/accent pieces for the home. I find that KARE is better value for money than Informa or Index because all the items are designed and styled to catch attention. (This is not where to go for basics!)
