RESTO RAVE ❤ Turkuaz Take 2
The ambassador invited us to dinner at Turquaz to celebrate TD’s birthday (isn’t that the nicest?). It’s one of his favorite restaurants in Jakarta – he and his wife have become friends with the owners because they frequent it quite regularly. After my first visit to Turquaz, I was really excited to try more of the delicious food, enjoy the gorgeous ambiance and finally take good pictures with my DSLR! YAY! (I only took photos with an iPad on my first visit)

After the lovely dinner we had at Asian Fashion Law’s the night before (future post on the yummy home-cooked meal!) wherein we were talking about how Filipinos in Jakarta are so crazy about pork that the mere whisper of pork gets us all hot and bothered. Haha! It was no surprise that the next day TD and I were definitely craving for… you guessed it… PORK! So TD did some research and found that there was a resto that served pork in the mall we were going to, Plaza Senayan. Pictures of what we had after the jump!

We’ve meant to go to Chilis ever since we arrived 3 years ago. The location isn’t convenient for us. We avoid going past Grand Indonesia in the Pusat (central) area as much as we can because of the infamous Jakarta traffic (macet!!!). During the past holiday we finally mustered up the energy to check it out! Pictures and verdict after the jump!
